Hope things work out for you and Pup. One thing I found out was HP changed Underwriter and that's when jumps started. We only had one claim a few years back. We started giving Ginger a Joint Builder treat and it got her stools loose, Loose stools cause Impacted Glands so Vet had to drain, was Hospital Stay and Meds, HP paid $75. We went back to the way I have fed my Pups all my long life, Good Dry Kibble one or two Milk Bones and now after Breakfast and Supper Dental Treat. We beak down her Fit & Fabulous Weight Control into 3 portions, Breakfast, Supper and Treat. Yes, She gets a kibble when she does each Job, she's my Hearing Service Pup, High Pitched Hearing, timers and such, sound directions, cooking, baking, lost items. Its amazing how she looks for work, do something more the a few times and she will find a way to help. Mailman or Trash Truck coming she will let me know. Bacon or Meat needs turning again. Best one is Timer, I can't hear it so when Liz cooks she shows Ginger Timer, she will tell me and then Liz when it goes off. Well after a few times, especially Pastry she will tell me before timer, found out the Items were done every time, "Pay the Dog".
