As you know, we went through this with our Beau a little while ago. It was SO hard, because he was the happiest little man on earth. Until the end he wagged his tail and kissed everyone he met. He stopped eating, and fell just below 4 pounds (at his highest, he was just below 6 pounds). He let us know that it was time when he did not greet our next door neighbor who had come to see him, and he turned his head away from a kiss. We could have kept him with us a little longer I believe, but he made it very clear to us that he was ready to leave.

I am so sorry that you are in this pain! Trust yourself to know when it is kinder to let sweet Callie cross the rainbow bridge, and look for support from your family and your vet. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk/vent...
