Just the change of diet can be enough to temporarily change bowel habits. Just be sure he's getting enough water and doesn't get dehydrated from the loose stools. Might keep Pedialyte on hand, try some unseasoned boned, boiled white-meat chicken with white rice for few meals. Of add some pumpkin to couple of meals. Vet if loose stools continue or dog behavior changes.
