Duchess tends to chase the cat more if she doesn't get outside. Basically the cat is her toy . But in between playing with the cat, she gets bored. I have to create some puzzle games for her. She loves trying to figure things out. |
I had to teach Jax - he didn't like fetch much when he was younger. Just didn't get it. He's super food motivated so I taught him a 'retrieve' by rewarding him when he brought the ball/toy back. Now he LIVES for playing and loves it. I still keep food rewards on hand but I don't need it for every single retrieve etc.
