Well I need prayers for Callie. While she is still bright and alert and moving around she is not eating much. I have tried chicken, beef and her dog food and she just picks at it. She has had one of the apatite stimulants from when she was sick before and it did nothing. I’m going to try the other one tomorrow. She will not eat her senior vitamin, it’s hard to get her to take her joint supplement and her medicine and she is not wanting treats sometimes. I had taken her off of CBD oil when she had her liver infection because it can increase liver enzymes but I think I’m going to put her back on it to see if it will help. Her weight is still dropping and we are moving closer to 13 pounds. She has significant muscle atrophy. There really isn’t much that can be done. I’m keeping her as comfortable as possible and we will go from there. I do think we are nearing the end but I’m just not sure. Her 13th birthday is in May. You know that when you get them that they won’t live forever but when you start reaching that time and decision it gets harder. I will never let her suffer. Prayers are just very needed right now. Even writing this is making me want to throw up.
