I would say Duchess is hyper energetic meaning she needs her daily walks. If she doesn't get them, he demeanor changes. she becomes bored and I would say even a little depressed about not being able to go outside. Going outside is her fix.....even if just a half mile walk.



If we don't go outside for several days, you can see how her attitude changes. So I am trying to come up with activities I can do with her if my area reaches a point where we can't go outside for any reason other than medical or to stock up on food.


When I was sick for two weeks, Duchess stayed by my side the entire time and didn't even whine to go outside but I think she knew I was sick and was being on her best behavior.



What kinds of activities do you do with your fur babies if you are stuck indoors for prolong periods of time? I was thinking I will try some new training. I need something that will stimulate her to keep her mind off of going outside. I hate seeing her moping around.
