I don't trust anyone to watch my guy even in my own house, my fault, he's a door dasher, but will listen to me when I tell him to stay, besides that, I do have a gate but that is not to say if someone knocks on my door they have closed that gate. When I started having dogs 45 + years ago I knew there would be sacrifices I would have to make. I don't fly, if there ain't no bridge to drive over, I ain't going, and, my babies come to. I would rather have a pup 24/7 365 then take a 2 week vacation once a year, and I would never kennel my dog for my pleasure. But that's me and my choice.
