I have seen it in Veterinarians when I was a Vet Tech. But yesterday I got first hand experience with a specialist.
I have been in constant pain for almost 2 months. I had all the required ultrasounds and tests. The Dr. told me he couldn't find anything wrong, END OF STORY!
Don't get me wrong I'm Glad to know I don't have anything serious. But when he told me I was speechless. Otherwise I would have asked if their were further tests I could take...MRI?
I expected him to say "Let me discuss this with my collegues" or "In the mean time let me prescribe something for the pain". But nothing, just there's the door Bye.
I will request another referral to another specialist. But in the meantime I am self medicating myself with pain pills I had left over from a surgery. And am extremely frustrated!
I'm sorry to bum out your evening, but I needed to vent.
