TPLO is only done by boarded surgeons. It is a special technique with a high learning curve.

The other leg is at a 50% greater risk of tearing, but that is not a given. I have not had it happen to my pups who have had the surgery.

Agree with you....no way I would wait. Arthritis starts pretty quickly if not repaired. The following link is an article written by the surgeon I use.
