It really all depends on the dog. Dogs in general are pack animals so they normally enjoy another. There are exceptions to that rule. Does he like other dogs? Is he neutered? My oldest was an only dog for like 8 years and now has a sister and 2 brothers. She did pretty well adjusting but she’s also a very chill dog. My others all did well when adding each other to the pack. You also have to think about the money aspect too. Double the grooming, double the shots, double the flea and tick meds and double the heartworm meds and so on.
