When was the last two times she competed in Confrontational Dog Shows and How did she 'place'? Don't stop there, always add; 'Out of how many dogs in the class?' Many times 'show' people will say, as a brag, that they came in 3rd in the last show....when asked, you find out there were only 3 in the class.
Always ask to see ANY sort of papers/contracts you have to sign ahead of time, before leaving your home to go look at puppies. Make sure, even though she says, AKC, that YOU are getting the AKC papers WITH THE PUPPY. Many times, an old trick, 'the papers are not back from the AKC....' The breeders have WEEEEEEKS to get those papers, AND they can now be finished on line..... Don't buy a puppy without the breeder giving you the papers ALONG WITH THE PUPPY IN THE PACKET THEY SHOULD GIVE YOU WITH SHOT AND DEWORMING records, at least.
And if you can not see BOTH parents of the puppies.....walk away. | Unless your planing on showing the dog I’m not sure all the showing questions are necessary. But definitely agree on the AKC papers thing, I have seen so many people get messed over with that.
