Hello

Nova is 6 months so I took her to get spayed. The blood test showed that her BUN level was 10.1. The vet recommended to delay the surgery until we find the reason for this slight elevation.
Has anyone experienced something like that? Is that the beginning of a kidney issue?
I don’t feed her raw- high protein food.
