Our last yorkie lost most of her protein from genetic IBD so we rushed her to the University Of Minnesota. I had friends and my mother say put her down it is costing money and she was suffering. My husband and I knew in our hearts she had a will to fight to live and she did. She was ten years old when this happened but she survived . We had her for two and a half years longer and she had a wonderful life til the end. It is we who know our babies and do not listen to others. Of course we have to know the quality of life and when it is time to let them go. I still hear about the money we spent but it was well worth it and she was the happiest girl to get through this. Thank God your baby is doing better and I pray you have many wonder days. Susan |
