I JUST saw the episode last night where he had a 4 month old Basset puppy in for an obstruction and he neutered him because he said "all patients that come through this door are required to be S/N before they leave" or something to that nature. I just don't agree with an animal who has already been through something physically traumatic and then neutering them right away? No.
I also hate when I see animals right out of surgery just chilling on the ground on a towel - not in a cage, etc. I think it used to be done due to their lack of space which, fine, I get. And some dogs would be fine with this. But I don't know... I just... don't feel comfortable with it.

Yikes. Yeah that early or after like you said who has already been through so much is a little much in my opinion. I guess though if that’s all you can afford you don’t have any options. I get the two vets mixed up. I remember in lab one of them was used to help us point out all the safety and normal protocol stuff that was being broken.
