My now passed girl Matese went months before I named her. My 3 before her were mischief makers but Matese went beyond that. I always said, if Matese was my first yorkie, she would have been my last yorkie. One night watching the news they mentioned the artist Matisse, referred to his paintings as "one of a kind" well, that's what this puppy was one of a kind so I changed the spelling and that is how she got her name. As an adult she weighed in at 17 Lbs, no fat or muscle, she had a long sleek body. I miss that girl so much, she was with me for 17 years.

Cody was a "quick pick" lol a unplanned gift to me from my vet 6 weeks after losing my beloved Matese. He was a surrendered boy, because of his huge ears he reminded my vet of Matese because she had huge ears lol.

I didn't want to leave my vets office with the name he had, I had to think on the fly and Cody popped into my head.

My kiddo
