OMG this is horrible

I just read what happened to Gucci. I can't believe that she has been turned away from an ER vet. How could they refuse care for a sick animal???

I just looked in my first aid book for dogs and it says that there would be symptoms if she actually ingested the poison. Maybe if there weren't any symptoms then she didn't ingest it. It also says that you could give activated charcoal (ToxiBan) in case of poisoning. It absorbs certain toxins from the intestinal tract--you would just have to check what the toxin is from the box. The book also says that it comes in a liquid or paste form and you don't need a prescription to buy it.
