I don’t know if you have had bad luck with vets or I have had really good luck but I have NEVER come across that with the vets I have used or even the specialist. My main vet is extremely the opposite and has been nothing but honest with me. Callie needed a sonogram and she straight out told me that she has the equipment and can do it but she is not trained specifically for that and reading it and that it would probably require me to go to a specialist anyway and they would be better doing the sonogram. I have never had a vet or specialist push something on me so they could make money. The majority of vets don’t really make that much money like many would like to think. You don’t get into it to make money but to help animals. Vets are the the profession with the highest suicide rate. Sure there are bad vets out there but most are not. You also can’t say the dog is in misery. I have known many humans and dogs that were very very sick and pulled through.
