I have a 4 lb yorkie who loves to chew. Vet recommended these CET dental chews but said to only use about 1 a week since they have about 40 calories. How often do you give your yorkies dental chews and how much? It took her a day to work through the chew. Is 1 time a week good enough for teeth? She does let me brush her teeth with the cloth finger brush and vet dental toothpaste every other day. Also, what else can you give them to satisfy the urge to chew? I got some medium size nylabones and they are ok. My sister has yorkies and gives them the hard marrow bone with no filling and they chew all day on them, but my vet told me no.
