I know no evidance that 2 feet on leashes realy makes a differance. The hawks are bold (6 feet is nothing!!!) or not, and you have them on a short leash or not. This is one of the only times its ok to flat out yank a leash on a harness! and yup, you can pull them back fast.

But more safety is not bad so do what you need to feel ok!!!!!! The net is GREAT!!!

Im more scared of Owls since they can get lots of dogs and you will NOT see them coming at all!!!
