It is a balence! I respectg how you draw the balence for you and your dogs.
There is a huge difference in shielding your dog from everything and using a wireless fence. The risks outweigh any pros in wireless fences. Supporting a wireless fence that SHOCKS your dog and offers no safety is disturbing. Go read the rehoming thread again and see how the negative training one of those using a shock collar ruined that dog. When there are pros it’s worth really thinking about but this isn’t. You should never just put your dog outside without a leash or real fence and that is what you are doing by using a wireless fence. Dogs have instincts and they will not care about pain to follow them.
