Pancreatitis is generally caused by fatty foods so it is possible the fat content on them was higher then her body could take, that doesn't mean though that it will happen with every dog just ones sensitive to that or maybe even prone to pancreatitis. They make them by size ranges. I have the type of dogs that only eat small pieces so mine are generally ok with most chews but noticing they have soy in them I doubt I would give them again. With any chew, treat or food though what works for some wont work for all.
