It has been proven to be effective. We had a foster on it for a few years and he did fantastic!
I will say that it was NOT expected that he would live that long.
Pulmonary hypertension is deadly
ALL meds have side effects and we, as consumers, should always know what they are and report to our doctors or vets if we have concerns.
