2017 I saw the flu strain H3N8 and H3N2 had worked its way into Pa. I asked my vet should we do the vaccine, she told me she has heard no cases of it in our county so for now NO. 2018 again I asked, I was told NO. My last visit to the vet was Dec. 22, 2019, ask about it again, again my vet told me no. She said if she starts treating any dogs for this flu she would sending letters out to get your dogs in for the vaccine.

Like you say, you go to a lot of dog venues where ppl from different parts of the country also go to. With Callie's low immune system I would not take the chance.
