We usually give just one to make them less jumpy, but if we have to go out and know that thunderstorms are predicted for instance, we increase the dose to two. Beau, at thirteen, only gets one since he is so much more laid back at his age. If we are on a full-day road trip, we give two to the younger yorkies when we start the day, and they ride calmly and/or sleep. We give them a third dose when we are settling in the motel so that they do not stress out over guests who slam doors, etc. during the night.

Thanks. I might try some with Joey because he gets over excited in the car and at pet events. Ollie also because he gets nervous leaving the house.
