You should also know..... IF you pass your dog on to someone else, knowing that it has bitten, and it bites someone after you pass it on, YOU ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE AND CAN BE SUED. This has been the case for many years in Dogs. In Court, YOU are liable, I can not remember how it is worded. Even if you pass on to someone that says.....Oh I would not sue you.
