Potty training though is a necessity and diapers are just not species appropriate and don’t fix something that could be fixed. If your not willing to at least potty train a dog then why get one? What happens if something happens to you and a friend or family member needs to care for your dogs but no one takes them because they aren’t potty trained. It’s just not feasible to not potty train. |
Gidget is completely potty trained. When the weather is bad, she uses the pee pee pads. Otherwise, we take 2 or 3 walks outside so she can pee and poop but also for the exercise for both of us. She doesn't mind being in a crate at the groomers and she's also used to being in a carrier when we go someplace. She's happy either way. When we visit my daughter for a few days, I take the pee pads just in case we can't get outside as often. No problem.
