The word tortured is used in jest, yavenay would never allow Dutchess to literary "torture" Chloe the kitty. Dutchess and Chloe are BFF. You're a new kid on the block, eventually you will get all YT members are animal lovers and would never allow animal abuse between two animals they owned. I don't see where yavenay wrote "and hides and still claws in defense." The play game is the cat hides behind the sofa, when Dutchess goes looking for her Chloe "slaps" Dutchess in the face, no claws out is ever mentioned.
