That sniffing where outside scents get in and marking over the spot is a dead give-away your little Yorkies are onto a scent alien to their world or a familiar but disturbing scent! So scary to think that those poor coyote creatures have to venture into our yards seeking help of whatever kind they need. However pitiful and needy they are, we don't want them taking out babies! Your heart breaks for them but would break in-two if those poor things ever got hold of one of your little ones. Wise of you to always supervise any pet during its outside time, as hopefully your own scent or presence will deter any predators on the prowl and if it doesn't, give you time to act to save your pet. Hopefully the coyotes will find no fruitful hunting ground and move on soon.
