I just want her to have positive experience with grooming.
Mike used to do it when he was little. I figured he had an urge to bite something when I was brushing him so I always gave him a bone to chew on while brushing. And then for the rest of grooming - short sessions and LOTS of treats. He's 1,5 years old now and is perfect with grooming at home. We had a big trouble with nails after vet quicked two of his nails to blood, he was sooo anxious and aggressive when it came to nails. Believe it or not it took me 8 months (!!!) of positive reinforcement but now he lets me file his nails no problem. He knows its painless and he always gets a treat for it so he stays super still. Good luck to you!!!
