Great Pyrenees are suppose to have double dew claws in rear. Most working dogs dewclaws should be removed at 3 days or less (at that time they are only attached by a thin skin.
One think about Yorkies.....watch those dew claws when dressing them. If they get caught in clothing, it can really hurt them.....think your finger being pulled backwards, hard. Katy has front dew claws that I wish had been removed. |
