Yes Royal Canin and Wellness too that list. They don’t use the unsafe ingredients, have real science behind their food and are very trustworthy. I have trust issues with Hills and Purina but many many old pros swear by those two. The DCM heart issue has to be taken very seriously and sadly many of the brands using peas, potatoes and lentils very heavily in their food as protein sources with try and put notices on their websites to try and make you think it’s safe instead of changing their ingredients to be safer. I have personally had three friends whose Yorkies got DCM. It’s scary for sure. I would stay away from the foods on the list the FDA put out and foods that use peas, lentils and potatoes as protein sources. Also I would stay away from the website dog food advisor because it’s false, made by a human dentist and you can’t rate food by ingredients. Dogs need different things then we need so what sounds good to use isn’t what’s necessarily best for our dogs. Instead of switching her food try treating her for environmental allergies first and if that doesn’t help then look at her food.
