Be thankful, I can't get Duchess to shut up sometimes. She barks at everything......leaves, squirrels, rocks, and of course people. But she's a good guard dog.....I just wish she would learn the difference between friend and foe.
Cherish the silence.
Some dogs aren't barkers, my last yorkie didn't bark for like two years and then one day she just started barking but fortunately for me, she wasn't a barker like the little stinker I have now.
