I took my cat into an emergency vet last year .. he had a urinary track infection .. they REQUIRED a deposit of $1100 in CASH before they would do ANYTHING. I was so angry. I got to an atm machine as quickly as I could .. got the money and raced back to the vet. The next day when I went to pick him up they told me it hadn't been as expensive as they had thought .. they refunded me $8. I was so disgusted by the way they treated me and I paid them every dime they asked for .. I felt like it was a miracle that my kitty lived. I can only imagine how Marie is feeling...
