Just walked in the door with our little old man. He was so happy to see us...it almost killed me, but I managed to stay away until he was ready to come home. He had to stay all day today, but all of his blood panel numbers are solidly normal now, and he is back to his alert, active self. He was not happy to be on special diet there, and lost some weight, but he was discharged with no special food scrips. (Thank goodness...Beau's picture is in the dictionary next to the definition "picky eater"). He spent the trip home alternately whining and kissing my face, but immediately curled up in his fleecy bed next to me on the couch. I expect that he will soon be fast asleep.
