I try to keep an eye on her, but I have other stuff to do, like making dinner for my children, going to the bathroom or getting some work done. This is why I want so desperately to keep her in her playpen, but the wailing just can't keep happening. I got the Bark Buddy yesterday... no real affect. And I got the smallest non shock collar I could find, but it's too big on her. I just think I am screwed for at least another month unfortunately.
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT use a shock collar on small dog or any dog for that matter. That is cruel and could end up injuring them extremely bad. That is not how to teach any dog. She is young and used to being with her littler mates not being a lone so she is scared and shocking her is in no way shape or form how you take care of that at all. Living some where she can not cry is not her fault and she should not be punished for it because that is what they do just like babies. Would you put a shock collar on your child?
