If you are lucky enough to have a facility that manufacturers and launders hospital pads in your area, you might check with them. I got a lifetime supply of good quality pads for FREE - that's right $0.00. Many of them were like new!!!!! The facility discarded pads that didn't have their label and made the discards available. Shelters and rescues were given priority, and after that individuals could pick them up from their discard bins. Although some pads may have stains, they are laundered and sterilized so no need to worry about disease.

I got a couple of pickup loads full with the intention of selling them, but wound up giving most away. There is usually at least one vendor at dog shows that offers reclaimed hospital pads.
