If Abby got along with Rowdy I see no reason why she would not accept a new baby. I will say this lol, do not expect a happy, playful first meet up. Just as Rowdy stayed away from Abby when you first got her, now it is Abby's turn to stay away from a frisky puppy. Given time the will become BFF
Just make sure Abby has a safe place to get away from the puppy, do not force the puppy and Abby to be friends, let Abby go to the puppy on her time and terms. Always make Abby first, first to be greeted when you come home, first to have food dish put down, first to get a treat, this way Abby will not think she is being replaced. In my opinion I think another dog will be good for Abby, one that is young enough for them to play together.
