Yeah, it seems a little odd to me. The way it was explained to me is that the propofol that was used was made for use with humans, not animals. And because of that no one will take a report. But that seems to conflict with what the government of Canada says. I’ll find out here soon but it seems to me it’s an off-label usage because it was used on my dog instead of humans, but that it can still be reported. There’s parts of the report that’s supposed to be filled out by a veterinarian. So hopefully I can get her on board with filling out a report directly to health Canada. We’ll see. She’s been very reluctant though.
