Our three destroy squeakers in record time! Through experimentation, we have found "chase n chomp" toys last the longest by far. They have several varieties...Gus's current favorites are the barbells, but he has had their larger ball-in-ball for almost two years without disabling the squeaker, and still will play with it if the mood strikes him. I usually purchase them at Marshalls/TJ Maxx for their lower prices, but they are also available on Amazon. We buy several when they have them in stock to make sure we have a supply.
During a recent vacation we purchased a bag of replacement squeakers. They all love the Kong duckies which have velcro closures on their backs to allow insertion of a replacement when their squeaker fails. The squeakers usually only lasted for a day, but they all had great fun fetching the duck, then bringing it to us for "squeaker surgery" when it stopped working. Lol |
