Liam on the other hand is over 9 lbs at 8 months old and has turned silver-ish and faded tan on legs and mussel. I've been told the traits can go back as far as ten generations. He is registered and I know his mom was a Parti. His size has me baffled a bit.
My 12 year old yorkie is 15 pounds she was 17 but has Cushings which effected her weight. My 3 year old boy is 13 pounds. My 3 year old girl is 15. Then my youngest Ollie is 12 pounds. Yorkies used to be bigger but were bred down. I personally like the bigger ones because they are less likely to get hurt and I can send mine out in my fenced in backyard with out worry of birds picking them up or them getting out of the fence. The only one I knew for sure was going to be bigger was my youngest becaouse he was 5 pounds at 5 months and was bigger then all his other siblings, I just got lucky with the others. My oldest has had her color change her whole life. My two girls are registered with a non reputable registry and my youngest is my only one with the AKC. My other boy has no papers but most resembles a yorkie then my others to me. I only use their papers as like a birth certificate and all of mine are spayed and neutered.
