My moms older rescue dog had it but he was older and his flares were easy to treat with pain meds. That young if it is IVDD and that bad that you are probably looking at surgery so prepare yourself for that. I personally wouldn’t use tramadol there were several studies that came out saying dogs metabolize it different then humans and that it just doesn’t work for them so next time you see the vet you might want to mention that. I feel bad for your poor pup it sounds like a very bad case.
