Never thought about that but I imagine w/out power, that storm is mighty loud! Wonder what poor dogs must think during one? Another reason I'll never ride out another hurricane as even a weak one can break trees, power poles, lines, etc. Being w/out power is the worst! We rode out a hurricane once in Houston but it just made it to hurricane status and our part of Houston was lucky, only wild wind, some flooding and lost a lot of palm fronds. Thankfully, it was a weak storm and our power stayed on.
