Yesterday at 5:30PM we had a thunder storm and extremely high winds, I thought my hanging planters would end up in Kansas with Auntie Em. The temp dropped from 92 to 79 when that storm finished 20 minutes later. Today 3 thunder storms and flooding rains, at least I see Cody got over July 4th war zone and back to his lil ole barking self. I saw on the news power outages is some states, glad you didn't lose yours.
Gotta fess up, storms like that now scare me, ever since we lost our power for 3 days after a strong, straight-line wind and storm. That wind hit the house/front door like a car from the whomp sound. Power went out few minutes later. Used to love stormy, windy weather but now that we hear the power grid infrastructure is aged, I have to worry.

Tibbe is extremely put out anytime the power is out. Keeps wanting me to fix it, make all our stuff come back on so he stares, threat-growls at me(it's too cute for words that shortstack, 9"-at-the-withers terrier venting his spleen - sounds like he's been breathing helium when he growls!) for a long time and then paces and paces for the longest time to impress me he's not thrilled with my incompetence!
