We had to go through couples of changes in food over short period of time when Mike was 4-5 months old. Couple of times he had very runny stool for few days and Fortiflora probiotic helped A Lot every time. I gave one full sachet mixed with new food for 2-3 days and then continued with half sachet per day for the rest of the week.
When we changed food at young age I changed it over 10 days, starting with literally 2-3 kibbles of new food on the first day.
Also I read pumpkin works for some but maybe be making the poop softer for others.
Lastly, for a puppy this young I would get your vets advice in case runny stool is a symptom of something else. |
