Default Adequan for my young Yorkie.

I have an 11 month old female Yorkie who has intermittent medial shoulder luxation, meaning that the two bones in the shoulder joint are not lined up properly. Radiographs show that the shoulder joint is malformed. She slightly limps.

I have a question about using Adequan to maintain the joint keeping the inflammation at bay.

Wondering if anyone knows if this is a life time thing or temporary?
My vet says once a week for life. I am suspicious of that.

Thank you.
