Use several of those ball-like treat dispensers filled with kibble instead of treats unless you can find one large enough to hold his full meal w/out being too big for your yorkie to easily master. Tibbe took every other of his meals like this for years. He was foraging for his dinner and loved it. Still treat him every so often giving him his dinner in his kong toys and other treat dispensers. We use the so-called foraging toys to serve meals in, too.
