Have you considered a Yorkie rescue group. There is probably one in your area. You could check it out and see how it operates and then leave instructions in your will for your precious little one to be taken to the Yorkie Rescue. Usually someone has to fill out an application and a home visit is made before the little one can be placed in a new home. This way you know the new family would take care and might even have other Yorkies in the home. Just a thought. I've given this a lot of thought in my case. Gidget is 3 and I'm 79. So it's doubtful that I'll outlive her. We always want to do what's best for our precious babies. |
