JakJak is almost 8 months old now. I cut his ear hair down as low as I had the courage to do almost a month ago. Ever since then, his ears have flopped over! He went from having hairy, perky ears to nekked floppy ears almost over night. His left ear will perk up when he's awake for a little while, and only half flop by the end of the day. But his right ear.... oh what a sad little ear. That one won't stand without tons of encouragement. (Massaging and literally me holding it up)

I'm going to trim his ear hair again this weekend, and I might try taping them up. Is he too old to have perky ears?

Ultimately, if his ears choose to be floopy, that's ok with me. But if I could encourage his ears to perk back up, I'll definitely try! Kaji was a floppy eared yorkie and I loved his look.
