 Yorkies chances of ring worm from kitten?
I rescued a kitten 2 weeks ago from a reputable rescue group. Within 7 days she was diagnosed with a URI. I got her started on meds and 5 days later she is diagnosed with ring worm. She is now back at the rescue until the ring worm is cleared and I can finish decontaminating . The problem is that although I had her in her own cage, my Yorkies would go by and “say hi” by licking and smelling. My other cat stayed far away since he hadn’t accepted a new family member yet. I have an appointment in a few days to have all of my pets checked out and I spent today cleaning, washing and giving baths. I’m just wondering if anyone knows how likely my Yorkies are to get it? |
