That’s 100% a myth and not true. My vet is happy to write me a prescription for Callie’s food for me to buy it some where else or I could get it from them. The price they charge vs what other places like chewy sell it for is the same. Sadly this is a huge myth which makes some people refuse to put their dog on a prescription food because they think the vets getting paid for it.
